DIY Anthropologie Stormy Seas Necklace Tutotorial. Really clever tutorial that paints acrylic tear drop shaped faceted beads (anthro necklace also had plastic beads). Photo Top: $48 Anthropologie Stormy Seas Necklace (not available anymore but the reviews were so good on this necklace), Photo Bottom: DIY by The Morning Letters with the tutorial here. *In the comments section someone wrote you can get the beads at amazon here, and one person painted them with nail polish not paint.

    fuckyeahtattoos:

This tattoo came from an idea to create an image to bring together science and nature. The outline is the Mandelbrot Set, discovered by Benoit Mandelbrot in the late 70s, and often considered to be one of the first fractal images ever produced. Inside the Set is the Tree of Life as interpreted by the tattoo artist, David Hale of LoveHawk Studios in Athens, Ga. David really brought this idea to life and created an amazing image that captures what I envisioned more clearly than I thought possible. Hope you all enjoy it too!
